Stutter Light by Calen Knauf for Aluminum Group

The Stutter light is milled from a solid block of aluminium via five axis milling machine. The shape was intended to mimic having cut from a larger object. Tactility was premier in the creation of the shutter light. The flashing or support fin functions as a thick delicious tab to pinch and point the light in a direction. The tear drop cross section of the main body is intended to entice hands and fingers to handle curve and transitions.
