Aroka by Studio Guillaume Delvigne for Versant Edition
Updated: Dec 5, 2019
Arroka means rock in the language of the Basque Country. Guillaume Delvigne highlights one of the most noble of marbles – Carrara. He reinterprets the traditions of marble masonry drawing inspiration from the hollows left by the chisel and creating contrast between smooth and textured surfaces. Numerous hours of carving are required resulting in the perfect marriage between the work of man and machine. The initial collection includes two vases 24 and 30 cm high.
