Weave is a stool that was made with the motif of Korean traditional handicraft called 'Jukbuin'. 'Jukbuin' is a bedding that has been used since the Joseon Dynasty, and was used to cool off in the summer night. This 'Jukbuin' is basically made of only thin bamboo, but it has a strong durability. The reason that 'Jukbuin' can have such durability is because of the unique structure of overlapping layers in three directions. The designers wanted to reinterpret the structure of this traditional way in a modern way for making it more robust.
So, WEAVE, a stool with the charm of coexistence of tradition and modernity, was created.
