Calamina by Calamine Design

Calamina is the result of sculptural exploration applied to the furniture design. Through this handcrafted work Carlos Calamina tries to transfer the research about material possibilities (marble) to the pieces created. He purely works with this material to push forward its technical quality. His work on each piece usually ends when he reaches the technical conclusions he is looking for. The raw material, its morphology and the primitive veining are the starting point of his work.
