Couture Collection by Lorenza Bozzoli
Updated: Dec 8, 2019
The Couture line widens and marks a second important chapter in the pouf Couture collection by Lorenza Bozzoli, an established Milanese designer who presented the first collection during Milan Design Week 2017. Lorenza Bozzoli, who collaborated with international companies such as Dedon, Moooi and Alessi, during the week of Salone del Mobile 2018 presents with an exclusive party at the main boutique of the jewellery brand Pomellato the new collection composed of several elements with a strong graphic and chromatic impact. The poufs, protagonists of the first Couture collection, are enriched with overlapping fringes of different lengths to create three-dimensional multichromatic levels. The proposal of the poufs is integrated with the bar stool and the three-seater bench. Great novelty and protagonist of this second instalment of the Couture line is a series of wall mirrors inspired by rationalist architecture. The series is characterized by mirrored glasses of different colours, arranged in multiple levels that create full and empty spaces, lights and shadows.
In order to emphasize the reflections’ effectbrass-plated metal profile frame the mirrors. The fringes, woven on looms of the early Eighteenth century, a distinctive sign of the Couture collection, continue the geometric design of the mirrors, enriching the shape with sinuous inserts of lightness.
