Stored by Hyukjoon Choi

Currently a junior at Hongik university, majoring in furniture design, Hyukjoon Choi, developed a see through shelf called Stored.

He have initiated the design by considering standardization. Precisely, he wanted to express that a human being is stored in society and system. a human being is stored in a repetitive life and social system. So he/she is standardized as a member of society. Therefore, he had created shelves which offers an experience to realize that one lives like a machine.

To emphasize standardization, he organize the object with wire mesh. A person who sit in the shelf is perceived as stored in furniture like objects.
