Spacco Table by Duecitti

The blackboard is an object which can conjure up memories in all of us and this project starts from here, from memories, from boards, from slate. A cognitive approach to bring out versatility and all the possible alterations of the Lavagna stone.

Spacco is a coffee table consisting of a rough slate block and a thin slab, which provides balance, a game of physical and graphic contrasts, between natural and artificial shapes both separated and held together by a golden core.

It is made up of Lavagna Stone and pale-gold painted steel.
