3D hairy wooden prints. Experimental research on the possibilities and defects of 3D printing with wire deposition.
From initial research around 3D printing to wire deposition and especially the parameterization of the Dood printer, many experimental series have emerged.
The Poilu is a series vase that explores the possibilities of a printer to directly generate and implant hair as it builds a shape. The printer interprets a code composed of coordinates and various information. By the printing of objects in hairy wood, they bring mathematical logic closer to a formal logic generated by nature.
