Flint by Lucie Koldova for Lexon

Updated: Jan 5, 2020

Flint goes as far back as prehistoric times for inspiration. Its subtle yet distinctive shape was created to appreciate our predecessors, who turned the right kind of stone into an essential tool and used it to survive. The faceted shape of the card holder is derived from Stone Age tools crafted by chipping away flakes from the surface with a hammer stone – a very simple method with great results, just like handing over a business card. Although it’s intended to be a basic accessory, it’s a remarkable piece to hold in hand. The Flint card holder, just like an instinctively processed stone, also conveys a pleasant visual experience and a curious sensation when touched.
