Alca Footlegs by Constance Guisset for Uhuru

Updated: Jan 6, 2020

The idea of this project was to join strengths, to combine a deep thrive for softness and organic shaped to Uhuru's know-how in terms of rough wood and metal techniques. The heavy feet are designed in delicate curves and are meant to be combined with beautiful pieces of wood top. They are modules that Uhuru can use in several heights and options, in order to adapt the object to any typology of table (coffee table, side table etc.).

The feet are tools that Uhuru can use and adapt to the pieces of wood they choose with passion and attention, either following shapes designed specifically, or respecting natural curves.

This project is a part of the Transatlantic Creative Exchange Program, initiated during WantedDesign Brooklyn, with the support of Oui Design.
