EINA, University School of Design and Art of Barcelona participates in the Salone Satellite of Milan 2017 with 6 projects developed by the 3rd and 4th year students of the Degree of Design within the Way On concept. Way On is a collective initiative, coordinated by professors Javier Nieto and Oriol Ventura.

Their Nomad Project builds a shelter to everyday life. Created to be an individual or a shared space, Nomad offers an alternative way to work, study, collaborate, rest, meditate... Inspired by the culture of the nomads and created for people who are always on the move, Nomad is a place where to stop after being in constant motion. Nomad builds a shelter for everyday life.

Ideal for contract environments (such as hotels, offices, rest areas and concentration on start ups, universities, airport VIP areas) or to create an intimate space at home. Its shape and display allows interaction, suggesting different relationships between the user and the space.
‘‘We created a concept from the observation of the new ‘Urban Nomads’: a space for people who are always on the move. From then on, many ideas arose, so we went on to define them, implementing improvements in the models and letting the design evolve until we got back to the core of the concept.’’
