PLAYplay by Lanzavecchia + Wai for Journey East

PLAYplay is a collection of colourful, bold, playful, retro and simultaneously contemporary furniture created in collaboration for Journey East by Lanzavecchia + Wai. Extend a warm welcome to the new members of Journey East’s PLAYplay family! The six newcomers retain the light- hearted and playful Asian-inspired spirit of the first series, but delight the eye with new materials, shapes and colour.
The time around, the pieces are made from wood with a lighter hue , oak, although the Indonesian Mahogany of the first collection is also offered as an option.
The much- anticipated line-up, which include the Dot sofa, Gridlock shelves and console, Rail console, side console/console table and desk, interpret ‘play’ in a different way, resulting in pieces that are more accessible and versatile for the compact and contemporary home.
PLAYplay is proudly designed in Singapore + Italy, and proudly crafted in South East Asia. South East Asia boasts an overwhelming plethora of rich colours and flavours found nowhere else in the world collected, sorted and selected to give life to each piece in the collection.
