Rotterdam City Plate by Studio Lorier
Updated: Jan 21
Get the city Rotterdam inside your house. For the fans of the popular harbor city, Studio Lorier created the Rotterdam City Plate; a porcelain platter, which resembles the great architecture of the Dutch city Rotterdam. To celebrate and honor Rotterdam and it's fans, Studio Lorier created the Rotterdam City Plate. The plate contains a mix of Rotterdam's important landmarks; The Markethall, Cube Houses, De Rotterdam, and the Rotterdam Train Station. Also the depths of the harbor and rivers are visible in the plate.
Designer and founder of Studio Lorier, Sander Lorier, is fascinated by the buildings in Rotterdam. “The city is always on the move and is a pioneer in modern architecture. It is inspiring to see all these developments and convert them into my designs. I wanted to take a snapshot of the city in its current state which can last forever. That became the Rotterdam City Plate.”
The plate is made in a limited edition, each with a unique number embossed in the bottom. It is dishwasher and oven proof. The plate can also function as a candle holder, or to organize your keys.
