Urchin by Dmitry Kozinenko

Urchin is a series of unusual wooden cabinets inspired by sea urchins; this inspiration is visible in the lower and upper ends of the cabinets which look a bit messy with the random placement of wood sticks but in fact very much similar to the inspiration source. Although at the first glance these slanted sticks seem to be only decorative, they are actually functional as the lower ones are the structural support of the cabinet while the top ones could be used to hold on many objects such as books.
