Table for a Flower by Studio Vjemy
Updated: Jan 25
Designed by Adam and Sam Cigler, these tables are made from massive oak planks and hand-worked in different sizes. The bottom side of tables is corrugated. Fallen out knots are bathed in a tin and then polished; this technology is used in Great Moravia for decorating tables. The table top then seats on four slim and long steel pipes.
In the middle of the each table is a hanging vase that its height and shape differ in every table, made of glass to hold on the flower and make this table, table for a flower. Only natural materials are used in making these tables, even the steel rods are not glued but only hammered into planks. The vase is removable.
