Tangled Series by Carolina Wilcke
Updated: Jan 26, 2020

The Tangled series consists of a sideboard, a console and a coffee table. Tangled was inspired by the steel window frames that were formerly often used in industrial buildings. For this design Carolina has experimented with different steel profiles which ended two figures interlocked. Tangled combines two volumes into one. The frame consists of steel profiles, matt black or dark charcoal gray epoxy, in which glass panels are fixed. This makes the design look sleek and subtle and at the same time firm and tough. The sideboard consists of two volumes, each with glass. As a result, the dresser has a total of 4 layers for objects of different height. It stands on four slender legs, resulting from the hull as a matter of course.

The coffee table consists of a volume of 130 cm long and a smaller volume of 50 cm as an option which can be mounted on wheels. This creates a dynamic table which can be placed on three levels stuff.
The console consists of two volumes, each with glass. As a result, the console has a total of 4 layers for objects of different height. The whole is associated with a simple suspension system to the wall.
