The inspiration for the design of Florence vases comes from nature. Each vase looks as though its "blooming" from the ground, rising up like a flower and hosting a vessel that contains the "nectar", water. In this design different kinds of materials were selected to express the designer's interest in creating a new and surprising hybrid. The three materials used to assemble these vases are copper, wood (ipea - walnut - maple) and glass.The wood was carefully selected to emphasise its natural color and vivid texture so when mixed with the glass and copper it would create an elegant end product.
