Whirl Chair by Ian Stell
Updated: Jan 27, 2020

Three freely functioning wheels are adapted to become the only vertical members of a chair. The orientation of these wheels keep it from moving in any other direction besides a perfect circle. When leaning back, the occupant becomes a brake, allowing for a club lounge seating experience. But if the sitter leans forward and picks up his feet, with the slightest opposing spin of the armrest/wheels, the chair becomes the smallest possible carousel.
