3D Printed 18 KT Gold Plated Cutlery
Updated: Jan 30
Aside of the functional aspect of tableware, silverware and goldware have always been and will continuously be ornamental figures. Conceived to pleasure the eye while fulfilling one of our most primary needs of food consumption and squander, Cutlery is unique in its ability to sustain time and carries a remarkable family heritage.
With the help of 3D printing, unlimited range and varieties concerning material usage, design approaches/aesthetics and form production are possible. The cutlery set by Isaie Bloch of Eragatory is the experimentation of digital modelling and 3D printing. Each of these beautiful and complex cutlery pieces is first designed and sculpted in CAD software and 3d printed in wax before casting the finished designs in silver or 18-carat gold plated brass.
