The Cheft Collection by Maryam Pousti, of Studio Pousti is a Series of furniture pieces constructed from wood sheets that interlock in and out of each other through specifically designed grooves. These interlocking elements create both the form and the structure of the objects. Due to the genius design of the structure, the assemblage of the objects is very quick as there is no need for additional nail, glue or screw.
The cheft bookshelf is made of twelves interlocking elements, the stool from three interlocking elements and the table from four interlocking elements.
Minimal design, fast assembly and compact packaging makes these objects highly versatile, intrinsically mobile and easily manufactured in small and large scales.
